John-Luke Shelley & High Speed Steel
Displaying a distinctive 'Blues Rock' sound, the John-Luke Shelley & High Speed Steel line-up has been wowing their audiences for over a year now.
Through sample songs & videos, and our photo gallery, High Speed Steel demonstrate some of their diverse performance styles - from festivals to lazy Summer Sunday gigs.
John-Luke Shelley, lead guitarist and vocalist, has only
been playing for five years but is described as having 'a great feel for the
work of Jimmy Hendrix, Carlos Santana and Stevie Ray Vaughan'.
John-Luke regularly receives standing ovations for his performances of such classics as 'All Along the Watchtower' and 'Gravity'.
His father Brett Shelley, the other lead and rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist, is the backbone of the group, with his substantial and outstanding technique.
Bass player, Pete Anderson, is a dedicated and accomplished musician whom John-Luke names the world's fourth best bass player.
Talented drummer, Jared Shay, at the tender age of twenty has been playing drums for over eight years and is already a passionate, rhythmic craftsman.
